How it works
The floor heating and towel rails are wired through relay controllers as part of a smart lighting system — C-Bus, Dynalite, KNX or Control4. A scheduled program switches them on a couple of hours before your alarm, so the warmth has already built by the time you're up.

One touch turns off every light and the air conditioning as you head out the door. Forgot to arm the alarm? Do it from your phone after you've already left.
How it works
Integrating your home's technology onto a single platform, such as Control4, lets us create powerful single-touch buttons on your keypads that control many things at once — lighting, HVAC, audio zones and more, all from a single press. The options are practically endless.

Answer the gate intercom from your phone, let the delivery through, and check the cameras to see what's arrived. Hallway blinds lower on cue to protect your artwork from the sun, and you'll know the moment the gardener lets themselves in.
How it works
Many intercoms can already video call you remotely, but tying yours into a larger system such as Control4 lets you draw on your other cameras too, and gives you control over every gate and door required for entry. Codes can be created for cleaners and gardeners that only work on certain doors, and only during set days or hours.

You set the temperature from your phone before you left, so it's already warm — or cool — the moment you're home. Pathway lighting guides you to the door, and entering your code brings the main living areas to life ahead of you.
How it works
Remote access means you can control your home from the app wherever you are, as long as you have an internet connection — which is how the temperature is already set by the time you walk in. Most HVAC systems can be integrated, though this needs planning up front, as cabling requirements differ depending on the type of system installed.

One button switches off every downstairs room and lowers the blinds for the night. Arm the alarm from your phone as you drift off, and everything's secure until morning.
How it works
Alarm integration is one of the most commonly used — disarm it remotely for guests, or arm it from bed if you forget before you're asleep. Only certain alarm panels can be integrated with Control4, so this needs to be considered upfront.
